Beef Tenderloin – “Mini”

Don’t be fooled by the price, we have found that these little tenderloin bars are terrific and come out exceptionally tender on the grill or cast iron skillet. When beef producers have smaller tenderloins (5 pounds or less) they often choose to sell at a much lower price because most processors/restaurants/caterers are only interested in the traditional sized tenderloin bars (over 6 lbs).

This is a great way to save money and still grill up some tenderloin. Cut them into steaks or cook the tenderloin on the grill whole.

These come smaller than the normal tenderloins and usually weight in at around 3 to 4 lbs each.
