Blooms has been providing customers in Trinidad and Tobago with premium meats and seafood since 2008. For the past few years, customers have asked for a Halal-version of our steaks. These were customers that found it difficult to find Halal slaughtered beef that reached their standards. For those customers demanding a premium product, it was impossible to find the necessary marbling in commodity beef steaks currently on the market.
Our beef is from cattle that is corn-fed and reared in the mid-west United States. These cuts are graded U.S. Choice (or higher) and the beef is properly wet-aged for flavour and tenderness. Chefs across Trinidad use our steaks daily on their menus. The marbling of these steaks creates a cooked product that will rival the great steakhouses of the world. Not only are these steaks some of the highest-quality money can buy, they are now Darul Uloom approved Halal.
